Janee' Beville

Janee’ Beville is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Licensing Supervisor.  She attained her BS in 2007 in both Psychology and Interpersonal Communication followed by earning her MS in 2011 in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy.  Both degrees are from Western Michigan University. 

Janee' has provided therapy for 12 years in a variety of settings such as schools, in-home, nonprofit agencies and outpatient.  She has experience working with couples, families, and individuals from infancy to senior ages. She has successfully helped people work through struggles related to depression, anxiety, career changes, parenting, conflict, self esteem, trauma, spirituality and various life transitions. 

Janee' currently specializes in working with women 18 years and older.

Fatima Nasir

Fatima Nasir is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. She is working under the supervision of Janee’ Beville. 

 

She completed her internship at the YWCA in the downtown Grand Rapids area. She has experience in working working with domestic violence and sexual abuse.

 

Fatima currently works with women over the age of 16 and specializes in general women’s issues, identity, and self-development

 

Fatima's goal is to provide a nonjudgmental safe space for clients to explore what is on their mind. Her job is to listen, understand and provide compassionate guidance to help clients rediscover themselves and goals in life. She hopes that through therapy you will learn to be kinder to yourself, uncover your intuition and move towards self-acceptance.

Siobhan
Williams-Moore

Siobhan Williams-Moore is a Limited License Master Social Worker. She is working under the supervision of Beville Counseling and a LMSW Independent Contractor.

 

Siobhan earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology in 2010. Following this, she earned a Master’s of Social Work degree, also awarded by Western Michigan University in 2017. In 2022, she then completed their Graduate Certificate Program in Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness. Siobhan is currently pursuing a Hybrid Trauma-Informed 200 Hour Yoga Certification (RYT-200), and the Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) title with expected completion of both in 2023.

​Siobhan has two years of clinical experience working as a children’s therapist, and as a Early Childhood Attachment Therapist. Additionally, she has over 10 years of experience working in various settings such as community mental health, residential, in-home, schools, affordable housing, and nonprofit agencies with a range of populations from Infant Mental Health, at-risk youth, families, and seniors. Further, she also has experience working with individuals and families to address a variety of challenges, including parenting, child welfare, behavioral interventions, suicide prevention, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relational conflict.

 

After exploring various career paths, Siobhan is excited to return to therapy where she can partner with individuals to attain their wellness goals.

Melissa
Polanco-N
unez
MA, LLC

Melissa is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Bachelor's of Science from Michigan State University and a Master's of Arts in College Counseling from Western Michigan University.  She completed her counseling internship at Grand Rapids Community College where she provided personal counseling to attending college students and addressed topics related to relationships and personal development.

 

She was raised in the Dominican Republic and embraces her Hispanic heritage. She welcomes clients from every background and can also provide counseling in Spanish.

Danita McAlister
MA, LPC

Danita is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Valley State University in 2011.

 

Her experience includes crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and providing individual counseling to adults coping with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and self-esteem. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to meet each client’s needs.

 

Danita works collaboratively with clients to find the presenting problem, process why it is occurring, and discover healthy ways to prevent a recurrence. She finds it a privilege to build rapport and trust with clients to let them know that no one is exempt from mental health concerns because we have all experienced distress at one time or another.

 

Danita believes progress begins with the necessary support to begin or continue to move forward and it is her pleasure to offer this support and encourage clients to make positive changes.

Shaniece Brown

Shaniece Brown is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She is a native of Detroit, MI, and a proud graduate of Detroit Public Schools. She has resided in Grand Rapids, MI for the past 11 years.

 

Shaniece earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Community Services in 2012 and a Master of Social Work degree in 2017, both from Michigan State University.

Shaniece has experience working in long-term residential facilities, home visiting, and mental health hospitals. She has serviced populations beginning in infancy to adulthood. In addition, Shaniece has experience working with individuals, families, and at-risk populations. She is familiar with diverse counseling techniques and strategies to combat anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting struggles, and self-esteem. 

 

Shaniece looks forward to working as a partner with clients to help support them where they are today and throughout their journey. Shaniece is passionate about serving our community, supporting clients manifesting their goals, and helping to affirm their progress. 

Bria Smith

LLMSW

“Hey! I'm glad that you're here! Therapy can be frightening, but I'm here to help support you and create an environment that is comfortable and nonjudgmental!”

 

Bria firmly believes that we all have the tools to create peace in our life and that sometimes we just need some assistance finding them.

 

Bria currently holds a Limited License in Master of Social Work in the state of Michigan. She earned her MSW degree from Grand Valley State University. While in school, she worked with populations in foster care, school setting, and prison reform. Bria is confident with working with young adults starting at age 14 and adults. She is also able to work with clients on a variety of struggles including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship troubles, and childhood trauma. 

 

Bria hopes that she can help you find the solutions to problems that have been weighing over you. 

Sean Stallworth

LMSW

Sean is a clinical social worker who provides therapeutic services to individuals and families. As early as adolescence, he had a deep desire to serve others by helping them improve their quality of life.

Sean earned his bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University. Sean earned a master’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University.

Sean is a tenured Air Force Veteran who served from 1999-2009, at duty station’s stateside and in Germany, Jordan, Ireland, and Iraq, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.


Sean is passionate about the therapeutic process and aiding clients, move from a place of vulnerability, lack, and uncertainty to viability, sustainability, and personal significance.  He specializes in topics related to PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, and communication.  Sean also provides Christian Counseling and Transcending Self Informed Therapy.  

 

Sean believes that “the client is the driver and clinicians are the pit crew responsible for using holistic, client-centered approaches to assist the client arrive at their desired destination.”
